A Busy Week at Venaspace Exeter

Hello! Holly, our community manager at Venaspace Exeter, shares some recent updates at our Exeter business centre:

In between welcoming new clients, conference events, socials in our Rabbit Hole Venue, and more, we hosted our second monthly Down The Rabbit Hole networking morning. On May 12th, 14 of us gathered in our dystopian themed community hub for an hour of conversation, coffee, and cake! We had both old and new faces join us this month, including internal office clients, people met while networking across Exeter, and, for some, it was their first ever networking event. The biggest hit of the morning, besides the mini colin cakes, was our furry guest, a two-year-old Border Collie named Shelby, who made sure to greet each guest individually! These networking events are prioritised at Venaspace as they nurture a thriving professional business community in our centres. The next morning networking is fast approaching on June 9th and we’re already seeing a high amount of interest. You can register your FREE ticket here.

In other news, we’ve announced a new collaboration with Leigh Farmer Photography, who has joined our Venaspace membership benefits at our Exeter and Plymouth locations. Leigh Farmer is a photographer who specializes in headshots, team shoots, personal branding, and much more! She has offered a 20% discount to Venaspace clients, and I can definitely speak for everyone at Venaspace when I say we are very excited about this partnership. Companies big and small will benefit from her expertise.

To finish off the week, our Plymouth community manager, Owain, and myself took our first trip to Bournemouth for some team bonding. We enjoyed a tour of our Bournemouth offices, and I must say, the Roof Top Terrace at Wilson House was a big hit! We had great food, a lot of laughs, and even did a little work. All I can say is there are many big things ahead, such as the soon-to-be grand opening of our Plymouth business centre, The Apex.

There are a lot of big things ahead for Venaspace so make sure to stay tuned!
