Phase 3 Renovations

We have broken ground on renovating the last third of the first floor of The Apex. We are dividing the area into three new offices ranging from 4 to 20 person. Built to the same high standard as our ground floor offices with individual air conditioning, lights on PIR sensors, keyless 24/7 access and brand new furniture supplied at no extra cost. These offices are going fast, so if you want to get into the newest and best business centre in Plymouth, get in touch soon.

Second floor renovations are starting next week too. We are  removing the suspended ceiling revealing a tall vaulted ceiling all the way up the roof. Along with the physical changes, we are bringing this floor into the 21st century by installing heating and cooling air conditioning, LED lights on sensors, a brand new kitchen and bathrooms, removing the old partitions and replacing them with glass to bring in the natural light.

Venaspace, in partnership with Shekinah have also completed extensive external works, clearing out our garden so it can be enjoyed by our members while ensuring that the local animals are unaffected. The Venaspace deer have returned this week and bought their fawn to help us show off the new Apex Garden.

By next summer, we will complete the garden with decking, a meeting area, a barbeque, and outdoor seating so you and your team can relax with a nice cold pint from our beer tap and have a BBQ.

Networking

Owain has been working hard to introduce Venaspace to the Plymouth business community and working closely with Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. He will be speaking at their next 30 Under 30 Event in December. He has also been proudly representing Venaspace at The Devon Business Show hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, the Big Lunches from Your Partnerships and making connections within the Plymouth community.

Venaspace Plymouth will also be hosting its own monthly networking events from November onwards. Each event will be held on the third Thursday of each month, starting on the 17th of November at 10am. Aiming to replicate the success of Venaspace Exeter’s “Down The Rabbit Hole Monthly” Networking, we are expanding in to Plymouth. We hope it to be as well received by the local business community.

Community

At Venaspace, we aim to provide more than “just an office”, we want to have our clients work with each other to build new relationships, generate new business and thrive in our business centres.

Therefore, our unique breakout areas foster a sense of community between people in the building. Whether pouring a cup of coffee from our fancy bean-to-cup machines or a beer on a Friday afternoon, you can sit down, chat, and network with fellow Venaspace members. This closeness helps builds sense of community that you cannot find anywhere else.

We also want to hear from you about what would make the centre even better for you and your clients. Owain is in the building every day to ensure it is running smoothly and help you out in any way he can. So far, he has been a sounding wall for ideas, helped direct several of our clients to the right place to get their names out into the world more and has helped bring in a couple of new clients to our existing companies.
