TRADITIONAL MEETS THE MODERN
First built in 1877 when it was used for the Lodge’s meetings and was later reconstructed and adapted for weddings and other receptions, it was important to us to maintain nods to its original features while giving it new life as modern serviced office space.
The carefully considered modern additions to The Lodge support the future of this building, with air conditioning throughout, luxurious bathrooms and kitchens, and even a solar PV system which is carefully positioned to appear invisible to passers-by.
Between the two halls is a beautiful hallway, almost a miniature version of the newer hall, where the beautiful architrave and original sky lights lead you to the basement which is transformed into a casual workspace, meeting space, foosball-table play room – whatever your team need. The original bar has been restored and redesigned by local artist, Jimmy Summers, using reclaimed building materials salvaged throughout the project. Of the many original features in this building, the basement is home to many curious corners and hidden spaces and is a typical replica of its past.

Hi, I'm Kat. I'm the Community Manager for our Bournemouth offices. I joined Venaspace in January 2022 when I also moved from Portsmouth to Bournemouth. I came over to the UK from Bulgaria in 2014 to study at the University of Portsmouth and since my graduation, I have been working in the Commercial Property Lettings sector and enjoy every aspect of it - from day-to-day operations to project management and customer service. On weekends, you will find me in the dancing hall practising traditional Bulgarian dances and exploring the wonderful nature and coastlines across the South West.
