Dynamic Offices at Venaspace Exeter

22 August 2022

We may not be rocket scientists, but we know space.

Venaspace first formed ten years ago when our CEO, Alex Bonnet, struggled to find an office for his recruitment team in Bournemouth. Thus, at Venaspace, we guarantee offices modern in design and functionality, so the space works for businesses of all sizes and industries.

Private Offices Tailored to Your Business

At our Exeter Business Centre, The Mount, we have 22 private offices that range from 2 to 50 people across six floors. We designed each floor to accommodate the specific needs of modern businesses.

Our larger offices benefit from features such as office kitchens, private meeting rooms, executive offices, and private facilities to allow a big team to work together without distraction. The smaller offices are designed for start-up companies and growing teams to thrive while working in an environment that facilitates networking.

At Venaspace Exeter, we refurbished the second floor last year to accommodate ten private offices with capacity ranging from 2 person-to-10 person teams. The space is complete with a communal kitchen stocked with everything you might need, including complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and fresh milk.

Onsite Meeting Rooms

An important feature of the modern office is for meeting rooms and boardrooms to be accessible to all companies. Start-up companies and growing businesses do not have space for meeting rooms in their private offices. Thus, we have designed our business centres to meet this demand. At Venaspace Exeter, the ground floor is complete with two meeting rooms and one conference room, each named after a dystopian fiction author.

All Venaspace members have free unlimited access to Huxley and Orwell Meeting Room (two-to-four-person meeting space), bookable via Nexudus, our online booking system. H.G. Wells conference room is available for ad-hoc bookings and benefits from a 4k projector, audio and visual display, an adjustable layout, private A/C, and dimmable lights. We also offer a tea & coffee service and bespoke catering packages.

The Venaspace Exeter Community

Venaspace Exeter is the proud home of an award-winning community hub, The Rabbit Hole, designed for communal breakout space. The Rabbit Hole is an entire floor available to all Venaspace members to take their lunch breaks, hold team meetings, work outside of the office, or network with our members and other local businesses. Complete with a pool table and beer tap (with free beer on Fridays), The Rabbit Hole is bustling with energy.

Our Exeter Community Manager, Holly, also supports our business community by hosting regular networking events to provide opportunities to make new connections. In 2022, we have hosted over 30 businesses across five events down The Rabbit Hole. If you have not registered for our next event yet, we are hosting a Business Breakfast Meeting in collaboration with Venaspace member Jon Iacomino and Your Partnerships.

Giving Back to The Community

As a business, it is also crucial to give back to our community through donations, fundraising, and offering our time.

Venaspace CEO, Alex Bonnet, is a proud member of Team 13 that has pledged to run 13 miles together while raising an incredible £1300 for Julia’s House, a Dorset charity supporting children with life-limiting illnesses. To support this mission, the Venaspace Exeter Summer Party fundraised £530 for Julia’s House and Team 13.

Venaspace Exeter are hosting a coffee morning and mini bake off in support of Macmillan Cancer Support on October 31st in the Rabbit Hole. Macmillan Cancer Support is a fantastic charity that provides vital support to individuals and their families affected by cancer. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, and we are proud to be a part of it.
