An Amazing Update from Venaspace Plymouth

There are loads of exciting things coming up at Venaspace Plymouth!

Venaspace Plymouth Launch Party

First of all, we are thrilled to announce our official launch party at Venaspace Plymouth. Midday to late on September 8th, Venaspace Plymouth will be open for anyone and everyone to come round, look at what we have done to the old tax office, networking with other business-minded people from around Plymouth and the greater Southwest region. With food, drinks, and entertainment provided all day, bring anyone you know along; the more, the merrier.

Sponsoring the launch party is Salcombe Gin, complete with a gin tasting session or two, miniature gin samples to take home with you, and full-sized bottles available to purchase at a discount.

Venaspace and our charity partner, Julia’s House, are also partnering up again to help raise even more money for the children they help with life-limiting conditions. Together we have already raised over £1500 and hope to smash past the £2000 mark soon. Read about Julia House and their work in supporting children in Dorset.

Bespoke Offices Tailored To You

Work on the first floor is coming along nicely. The walls of our newest client’s office have gone up, the glass measured, bathrooms renovated, and the kitchen replaced. This office is now our biggest in Plymouth, with two-thirds of the first floor, four internal meeting rooms, space for 50 employees, and many other bespoke features. If you know anyone looking for a bespoke office in the desirable Derriford Business Park, we have a referral scheme with up to £1000 to be paid to you or a charity of your choice when they sign up for an office.

Having taken office 007, their managing director, Steve Kyffin, now feels like a secret agent.

Giving Back To Our Community

We believe in the importance of giving back to our local community. Whether through donations, fundraising, or offering our time. Recently, we have donated two quiet working pods left behind by the previous owners of The Apex to Mount Tamar School in St Budeaux in Plymouth, which teaches kids with special education needs. Rather than throwing them away, we hoped to give them a new life. Now, these pods will help improve the school life of countless children over many years with these quiet pods.

Outside of Venaspace Plymouth, our Community Manager, Owain, has become a mentor for discovery college, a part of YMCA Plymouth. This outreach programme gives local children from disadvantaged backgrounds a chance to meet local business community members who can help guide them through the next few years of education and advise them on the best next step to get where they want to be. Owain has previously done something similar with years 6-10 with a different outreach and mentoring programme, so we know he will do brilliantly.
