In honour of International Coworking Day earlier this week, we would like to share more about how we have designed our business centres with coworking and collaboration at the forefront. Our coworking spaces intend to inspire and promote collaboration among professionals with similar interests.

Coworking down The Rabbit Hole – Venaspace Exeter

Our award-winning coworking hub in Exeter, The Rabbit Hole, features a specialist coworking table, lounge areas, a pool table, a beer tap, and a private booth. Since its opening in 2019, many start-up companies found it perfect to base their business there, and we have seen them grow. The Rabbit Hole is also the ultimate event space featuring a beer tap, a pool table, and funky lighting. We have hosted events such as Summer and Christmas parties, gin-tastings with Salcombe Gin, staff socials, networking morning meetups, coffee mornings with Macmillan Cancer Support, and many more!

Networking on The Roof Terrance – Venaspace Bournemouth, Wilson House

And finally, this year, we’ve launched The Roof Terrace at our Bournemouth property Wilson House. The weather has been perfect this summer for networking events, summer BBQs, and relaxed after-work evenings.

Most recently, we were the host for Honey Asset Finance’s Hive @ Five networking for young professionals on July 14th. Our Bournemouth Community Manager, Katrin, a young professional in the Bournemouth Business Community, attended and had a great time! She met other young professionals her age and even signed up BLAQ Designs for our Venaspace benefits program for our Bournemouth members. You can learn more here.

TBA – Coworking at Venaspace Plymouth, The Apex

Our most recent business centre, Venaspace Plymouth, The Apex, has an up-and-coming coworking/community hub. While we do not have a name yet, we have ideas already in motion in our Plymouth coworking hub.

Complete with a bean-to-cup coffee machine, kitchenette, A/C, fast WiFi, and a self-serve beer tap with Devon Rock beer, our Plymouth coworking hub is up and coming. We cannot wait for the networking events and socials our Plymouth Community Manager, Owain, will inevitably announce.
